Help

How to bring your notes into Flashcard and how to use it from inside Claude or ChatGPT.

Import notes from Google Drive

  1. Open Settings and find “Import notes from Google Drive”.
  2. The first time, tap “Connect Google Drive”. Google asks once for access to the files you choose — Flashcard can read only those.
  3. Tap “Choose files from Google Drive” and pick up to 5 files in Google's window.
  4. Flashcard turns each file into topics and cards. You can follow the progress in the list below.
  • Supported: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), .txt and .md. PDF is not supported.
  • The free plan includes 1 imported document; Premium includes 10.
  • Signed up with email and password? You can connect any Google account for Drive — as long as it isn't already used for another Flashcard account.
  • Good notes make good cards: a heading for each topic, one example sentence per line, vocabulary as “German — meaning”.
  • Changed a document? Use “Import again” next to it to update your cards.

Upload a file from your computer

  1. Open Settings and find the upload section.
  2. Choose a file: Excel (.xlsx), CSV, Word (.docx), .txt or .md.
  3. Flashcard reads it and creates topics and cards, just like a Drive import.
  • For spreadsheets, put the German word or sentence in the first column and the meaning in the second. A header row is fine.
  • Uploads count toward the same document limit as Drive imports.

Use Flashcard in Claude or ChatGPT

  1. Copy the server address: https://flashcard.parastoomosayebi.de/api/mcp
  2. Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the address → Connect, then sign in to Flashcard and tap “Allow”.
  3. ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Create (developer mode may be needed) → paste the address → Connect, then allow access.
  4. Tip: in the connector's settings set the tools to “Always allow”, so the assistant doesn't ask before every step.
  5. Start a new chat and ask in your own words — examples below.

  1. Open a new chat and make sure Flashcard (or the name you gave the connector) is switched on under the + or tools button.
  2. In the connector settings, set the tools to “Always allow” so it doesn't ask before every step.

  • The assistant can list your topics, create cards, review due cards with you, find your weak spots and show your progress. It cannot delete or edit cards.
  • Free accounts can create 20 cards a day from chats; Premium 200. Reviews in the chat count toward your daily goal and streak.
  • You can disconnect an assistant any time in Settings → “Connect an AI assistant”.
